Before the name “Steam Powered Giraffe” was used for the group, my brother (Rabbit) and Jon (The Jon) used it in these stupid music videos we made in college.

This is the song “Scary World”. It’s first incarnation actually. We were in college and I am not sure why we did these things…obviously they led to Steam Powered Giraffe, but you can definitely see our rough start.
It’s the same song that’s on Steam Powered Giraffe’s new album “The 2-Cent Show”. Obviously we’ve updated it, changed some lyrics, changed some harmonies and added more musical things to it (like drums ¬_¬), but it’s the same song.

Work of caution though…
This music video is not family appropriate.
I’d say it’s PG-13.
It’s pretty tame…but I wouldn’t show it to grandma or little billy just for two certain parts in it. If you want to, watch it first and make sure you’re okay with showing it to others. o_o

P.S. - Yes, that’s the same giant foam cowboy hat that we used in the Automatonic Electronic Harmonics Video…and the bass guitar featured is actually the same shoddy bass we use for live shows right now currently. :)
UUUUUHHHm OH! And the cello featured is the same one we used to lay down the string section in Clockwork Vaudeville in Album One.
